All About "The BOYS"

This is Peru... also known as Puppy Ru, Peppy-la-Ru, Ru-ster and Ru-io. He's a huge fan of plasic bags ("Ferret in the Sack") and cozy sleeping nooks. He's really similar in personality and appearance to our first little fert, China... he's usually low-key, but when the mood strikes he can hop and nip with the best of 'em.
Peru was our first fert to get really ill and survive... he's also the most vocal dooker we've ever known.

This is Cuba... also known as Cu, Cu-ball and Punkin Cu. He loves almost any people food, especially Gatorade. He reminds us a lot of our little Israel... bouncy, qwirky and extra sweet. Plus he has "silver knees" like Figi did. He's like a tiny puppy and has lately become great at jumping, like a cat.
Cuba's probably the chubbiest fert we've had... he's slimmed down over the last several months, but still looks like a kit.
Missing the Girls and Ignoring the Dawg...
It's been a rough couple of years since we've moved into the house... Cuba came soon after we finished packing which definately stirred things up, but then we lost Tibet and it was hard on all of them. Peru got really ill this past Spring and managed to pull through, but then we lost Figi. It was pretty sudden (although we suspected problems for a while) and it was especially difficult for Peru - she was his special little cuddle partner.
Now that Bali's come along, things have settled down. Peru and Cuba are closer than ever. They tend to play together and exclude the dog, but they'll sniff and climb on him from time to time... he's just another thing for them to "mess with" in the house. : )
The Ferrets We LOVED and Lost...
I'm working on a "Rainbow Bridge" page for our long lost littles - stay tuned for cute pics and info about Figi, Tibet, Nepal, China and Israel! In the meantime, if you haven't already seen it then CLICK HERE to see the old Ferret Faces site... it hasn't been updated in a few years, but still cute :)
